My name is David Mauger, and I have served in full-time vocational church work since 1994. I have had the blessing of being the pastor of Highland since 2014. Highland is the most loving, gracious, and forgiving church family I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. We love and accept all people, and by the grace of God, we attempt to lead them in the loving and righteous ways of the Lord through the power of His Word.
The Bible teaches that all pastors/elders will give an account to God for how they shepherded the souls in their care (Hebrews 13:17). This future accounting before God is the foundation and central focus of my ministry. The Biblical expectation that God has for church elders is what guides and determines everything I do as the pastor of Highland. Watching over souls is my sobering yet joyful duty. My highest aim is to ensure that the Highland family is as ready as possible for the Day they meet Jesus face to face. We as a church body commit to protect, guide and care for all those in the Highland family. Highland is unique in that we are big enough to serve you and your family, but small enough to know you. We are big enough to meet your needs, but we are small enough to care. At Highland, you will feel the love of God and care of His people.

If you are searching for blessing, peace, hope and love, we offer the One who is hope; His name is Jesus. Jesus is the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Giver and Source of eternal Life.
